driving back to school, i saw an exit sign for norwich connecticut, i didn't make it to class that afternoon...

instead i spent the next few hours wandering through the hallways and tunnels of an abandoned mental asylum by myself, not knowing what would await me around every corner.  hours passed by and i had only seen two or three buildings, at this point i realized that this was the first of many trips and documenting the facility would be quite an extensive task. as the sun began to set i started to head back to my car and noticed a handwritten sign that said "no patients beyond this point"

i'm afraid i've already become one.
